I am insured for Counselling and Psychotherapy by:

This is professional liability insurance, and also covers for any matters arising from, Health and Safety at Work, Consumer Protection and Food Safety for clients in my own home where I practice.

I am currently a Student Member of the BACP – I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy (where practitioners undertake research) and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.

I also have a current, clear, Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate conducted in January 2007. 

Nb. These usually last for three years with an employer, they are in place to check that anyone working with vulnerable people or children are safe to do so. In as much as you can tell from a police check at that time.

Qualifications

NCFE Certificate in Basic Counselling Skills in 2002 at Highbury College.

Degree in Psychology as a Bsc (hons) in 2004 at Portsmouth University.

Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2008 at the University of East London.
