Generally counselling and psychotherapy can last as long as you need it to. In most cases sessions are held at the same time every week. I understand that with peoples varied lifestyles and work commitments this is not always possible, even so I do expect a full commitment to our work together of weekly or, more rarely, fortnightly sessions.

I offer one free, half hour consultation for our first meeting as I understand it can be very hard to choose the right therapist and a short interview may help with your decision.

By our first full session of 50 minutes, I hope to know quite a bit about you; I listen and you tell me what you need to.  There is no pressure and no judgement.

You are expected to make your own appointment.  I do not accept appointments made by a third person.

Information and directions will be sent to you before the first session.

If a session is missed with no warning you will be charged the original fee. I will accept 48 hours notice of cancellation with no charge.
